Before you start folding, once you have printed out, it is best to run through this tutorial if you are unsure exactly how to construct the case. It is simple enough, the numbers give a big hint however it can be tricky to get the right folds. Here are some things you need to know before you start.

Mountain folds form an upwards arrow when you look at the horizon of the paper.
Valley folds form an downwards arrow (Like a Valley) when you look at the horizon of the paper.
The best result comes from CRISP folds. Use a ruler if necessary.
Don't rush, even if you take a few minutes it is still quick!
Use good paper, thin paper tends to create crap folds.
Wash your hands so there aren't any grubby marks when you finish.
Write on the Case BEFORE folding it to avoid damage to the CD.
If posting, be aware it is possible that the CD may be damaged on arrival depending on how good your postal service is. The UK (seems to) accept this form of packaging. Make sure you seal it well!
Enjoy it, if it is a chore you will not do it right.

STEP i.

Print out your template, nice and fresh. Be careful not to bend it or get kinks in before you even start.

STEP ii.

Lay the paper on a flat, hard surface.

STEP iii.

Write on the paper first. You may damage the cd otherwise!!!

STEP 1.

Fold along the lines labeled 1. This is a mountain fold so you fold the edge to the blank side.

STEP 2.

Unfold and lay the paper flat. Fold along the line labeled 2. This is also a mountain fold, the edge folding onto the reverse face of the paper.

STEP 3.

Re-Fold along the lines labeled 1. With your finger on a line labeled 3, lift the folded paper before it and make the mountain fold from line 2 meet with the mountain fold of line 1. You will effectively be forming a valley fold at line 3. Repeat this for all 3 labled lines. You should end up with something that looks like the illustration.

STEP 4.

Fold along the valley lines labeled 4 to get 'dog ears'

STEP 5.

Fold along the line labeled 5.

STEP 6.

Insert CD!.

STEP 7.

Tuck it in!. Finished

STEP 8 (Mailing Instructions).

Seal, Stamp and Send!
